Had c.i.p briefing at bishan junction8 for gift wrap.
clocked cip hours but, really, it was kind of a boring briefing.
the guy in charge went to the extent of showing a video of non-profit family organisation..plus showed the revenues and expenditures(TOTALLY UNNECESSARY IN THE LIGHT OF QUESTIONABLE ORGANISATIONS)
then, went on to talk about a lot of stuff that zoomed out of my ears as quickly as they went in.in fact, i was zoning in and out throughout the briefing.
then there were demonstrations of how to gift wrap..like boxes..and irregular stuff like,stuffed toys.
kind of crazy(my trial wrap looked like a diaper.-.-)
sigh.
then went to meet my parents for dinner.
went to Little India to eat some authentic indian cuisine.
the food was really good!tried nan and spinach+cottage cheese(surprisingly yummy)
then strolled through the streets with the beautifully lit deco for deepavali..
i want to go there to eat again.=)..oh, though its random..i bought a top/dress (wear it either way) for $5! and it looks quite expensive..thanks to huiqi who persuaded me to buy..=)
really like it.bought it at Bugis Street 3rd floor.there were other nice clothes and bags and shoes and necklaces but i was in a hurry and my finance dept is in repairs.
ps: Huiqi and ben, plans for fishing?^.^
